Williamsburg Technical College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department pledges to provide a suitable alternative to traditional learning by providing short-term job training and community interest classes to everyone in our county service area. Our goal is to ensure that all who seek career advancement receive the proper training for the current job market. For those who want to learn more about a favorite hobby or interest, our classes offer up-to-date and exciting information.
Williamsburg Technical College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education staff is committed to training a skilled workforce in order to meet the new and expanding labor force requirements of current industries.
Our professional and knowledgeable trainers possess the industrial and business acumen that enables them to customize training in a way that will increase proficiency and productivity for your organization. Training programs can take place at your location or in one of our classrooms or computer labs at our Kingstree campus.
Courses and workshops are available in Leadership and Team Development, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Technical Skills, Customer Service Excellence, Computer Software Application, Workplace Ethics, OSHA Safety Training, Forklift Truck Operator, Real Estate Renewal, Manufacturing Production Technician, and Pre-employment training programs. Additional programs can be designed and delivered to meet specific performance requirements. Seminars are held regularly for groups needing Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) in order to satisfy licensure renewal requirements.
