The microcomputer business applications certificate program is designed for students entering an academic path in preparation for careers such as computer operators and other computer occupations. It is designed primarily for the student who is seeking employment or who is currently employed by a business that uses or wants to use microcomputer word processing, spreadsheet and database software packages. This program of study is designed to prepare the student in basic business concepts as utilized in a wide variety of commercial software programs.
