BIO 101 – Biological Science I

To give students an understanding of biological concepts and a working knowledge of the scientific process. Two major themes will be emphasized: Nature of Science and Biological System.


BIO 210 – Anatomy and Physiology I

This course is the first in a sequence of courses including an intensive coverage of the body as an integrated whole. The study of cells to organs are studied.


BIO 211 – Anatomy and Physiology II

This is a continuation of sequence of courses including intensive coverage of the body as an integrated whole. All body systems are studied.


BIO 225 – Microbiology

This course covers principles of microbiology and the impact these organisms have on man and the environment. Topics include the various groups of microorganisms, their structure, physiology,genetics, microbial pathogenicity, infectious diseases, immunology,and selected practical applications.
