Overview
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Williamsburg Technical College leads planning, assessment, and institutional research to support continuous improvement, data-informed decision-making, and compliance with SACSCOC accreditation standards. The office is administered by the Director of Planning and Research.
What we do
- Coordinate the college’s strategic planning and annual assessment cycle
- Lead program and administrative unit outcomes assessment
- Maintain institutional research data and federal and state reporting
- Lead SACSCOC accreditation compliance, monitoring, and institutional reporting
- Coordinate institutional data governance and support data quality across the college
- Publish institutional effectiveness reports and required public disclosures
- Provide data to support college planning and decision-making
Accreditation
Williamsburg Technical College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Williamsburg Technical College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
