In addition to VA benefits, you may be eligible for additional benefits from the federal government, so we suggest completing a FAFSA.

Applying for Financial Aid and Veterans Benefits
Complete the FAFSA (school code 009322), online at https://www.studentaid.gov. Be sure to complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026. Complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027.
Apply for VA Education Benefits at va.gov under “Education and Training” Eligibility for VA education benefits is determined by the Regional Veterans Affairs Office not the WTC Veterans Affairs Office. The VA uses the information the student provides them.
Requirements for Certification
Once you are approved by the VA and they send you the Certificate of Eligibility form. Submit a copy of the COE to our Veterans Affairs Office or email to jordant@wiltech.edu.
Complete and sign the VA Certification Intent to Enroll Form. The Certification Intent to Enroll Form must be completed every semester when registration is finalized. College transcripts must be sent to the Student Affairs Office.
All adds, drops, and withdrawals MUST be reported to the VA Office after the change is made in order to receive benefits correctly.

Once you apply for your VA education benefits, please allow up to 30 days to receive your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the VA.
