QUICK COURSES:
You may have heard of “workforce development or continuing education” courses available through South Carolina’s technical colleges. These courses offer updating, upgrading and supervisory development training, both in-plant and on-campus. Training can be custom-tailored to meet the specific needs of industry and can provide courses for enhanced personal abilities through “hobby courses.”

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT:
In accordance with provisions of the Rural Development Act, the state’s technical colleges are the designated providers of training to help keep the existing workforce up-to-date with changing technology and competitive in global markets.
