Upon receipt of the diploma in Cosmetology, an application will be submitted to the State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners. Students must successfully pass the exam to become licensed cosmetologists. Persons applying for admission to the cosmetology program must have proof of 10th grade completion (diploma or GED certificate/scores) and a physical exam, including tuberculosis screening, to complete registration.
