

Phi Theta Kappa Raises Money for Red Cross
Williamsburg Technical College’s Alpha Sigma Gamma chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society recently raised $1506 for the American Red Cross. The Society recognizes and encourages academic achievement of two-year college students and provides opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service programming. To raise money the organization held a bake sale, a hot dog sale and several other events to raise the funds. They also received personal contributions toward the cause, as well as contributions from Kingstree businesses NCNB Trucking, McKenzie Farm Services, Inc., Tommy Powell Well Drilling, and Samuel L. Floyd, LLC.
