Williamsburg Tech Thanks Exchange Bank
Williamsburg Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education recently presented a plaque of appreciation to Exchange Bank of South Carolina Nelson Avenue branch manager Janie McCrea and bank president John Martin as a token of thanks for their exceptional support to the College. The Exchange Bank has sponsored FDIC “Moneysmart” programs for high school students on Saturday mornings at the College. Topics covered include introductions to banking and credit, choosing and keeping a checking account, keeping track of money, savings plans, consumers’ rights, and credit history dictating credit future. The bank and the College plan to offer courses in the near future on charge accounts, loans and home ownership. McCrea has taught the courses and has received consistently exceptional evaluations from students who have taken the courses. Pictured here (from left), WTC president Dr. Cleve H.
