Williamsburg Technical College admissions director Alexis Wright was the recipient of one of three $500 scholarships provided by the American Association of Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) at the 2007 fall conference at Trident Technical College in Charleston The scholarships are presented each year to a worthy woman in the technical college system who is working on a degree to further her education and position.
