

Williamsburg Technical College Student Receives Progress Energy Scholarship
Yevonne Morris (left), Progress Energy operations support assistant, recently presented Demetrius Keels of Lake City with the Progress Energy Scholarship during the Williamsburg Technical College annual scholarship awards ceremony. Keels is majoring in Associate in Occupational Technology, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Welding and he is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at WTC
In order to be considered for the Progress Energy Scholarship preference is given to Progress Energy customers enrolled in electrical technology or a related program. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and qualify for as much as $1,000 disbursed half in the fall and half in the spring.
Gifts made payable to the Williamsburg Technical College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, are tax deductable.
