Henry and Jackie Poston Scholarship Awarded

at Williamsburg Technical College

Courtney E. Ganes from Kingstree (left) was recently congratulated by Henry Poston for being awarded the Henry and Jackie Poston Scholarship during the Williamsburg Technical College annual scholarship awards ceremony.  Ganes is majoring in Health Science, Practical Nursing at the College.

The Poston scholarship recipient must have and retain a 2.0 grade point average.  The amount of $1,000 per academic year is disbursed $400 fall and spring and $200 summer prorated for less than full-time attendance. It is awarded only after all other financial aid is awarded and may be used for books and tuition only.

Gifts made payable to the Williamsburg Technical College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, are tax deductible.
