Williamsburg Technical College president Dr. Cleve H. Cox (right) recently received a scholarship donation from Joan Thompson of Kingstree.  Thompson has been a member of the College’s area commission board for 19 years and currently serves as vice chair.  She is head of school at Williamsburg Academy and has worked in K-12 education for over 30 years. Thompson’s gift to the College Foundation’s Campaign for Educational Enrichment will be used to provide much-needed scholarship assistance to a qualifying student as determined by the College’s scholarship committee.
