FREE Financial Aid Application Event at Williamsburg Technical College

Williamsburg Technical College will host College Goal Sunday on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. to help college-bound students and their families with the financial aid application process. Financial aid professionals will be on hand to help complete the necessary paperwork to apply for federal and state funding available to students who plan to further their education at any two- or four-year institution. To complete a financial aid application to start fall semester, you should bring student’s and parent’s 2008 state and federal tax returns, social security number, driver’s license, verification of untaxed income (social security, TANF, veteran’s benefits, etc.) and alien registration number (if you are an eligible non-citizen) or, if you would like to begin in the summer, WTC will offer assistance to complete the 2008-2009 paperwork if you bring 2007 income information.
