WTC Quarles Award Presented

Williamsburg Technical College mathematics adjunct instructor Jenny Johnson from Lake City (left) recently received the 2008 Quarles Excellence in Teaching Award from Andrews resident Clifton Elliott, dean of instruction at the College.  The Quarles Award is presented to an adjunct faculty member nominated by students and faculty members on the basis of excellence in teaching.  The Quarles Award is named in honor of the late Dr. Ray Quarles, Jr. of Kingstree who served as an adjunct physics instructor at Williamsburg Technical College.
