Bibliographic instruction - Learn how to locate, evaluate and use the library’s print and non-print resources; how to access resources available on campus and around the world. Speak to the librarian regarding individual, group or class instruction.
Book return box - A library book drop is available at the outside entrance for book returns when the library is closed.
Circulation - Checkout and return library materials, request items on reserve, retrieve printouts, pay fines, pick-up and return interlibrary loans.
Collection development - Librarian and faculty collaborate in selecting resources that support teaching and research.
Computer/Internet access - Library provides computers with Microsoft Office and Internet access.
Interlibrary loan - Books and articles not available at the WTC Library may be borrowed from other libraries for faculty, students and staff. Interlibrary loan requests usually take about 10 days for processing. Every effort is made to provide this service at no cost to you. However, if there is a substantial charge, you will be notified before the request is processed. To place a request, contact Lisa Brown at 355-4105 for more information.
Photocopying and printing – Photocopying and printing costs 10 cents per page. Patrons may retrieve computer printouts at the Circulation Desk.
Research assistance - Get help with defining your information need, locating, and evaluating resources. Library staff is available during the day and evenings to answer your questions and provide assistance with research.
Reserves – Faculty may place personal or library-owned material on reserve for their classes to supplement resource needs. Items are available for limited loan periods.
Telephone – A courtesy phone is available at the Circulation Desk for brief local calls.
USC distance education courses – WTC Library serves as an official viewing site for University of South Carolina satellite courses. Please contact Caren Agata for further information at 355-4131.
